SALT & SOLACE

Explores the idea of healing and emotional comfort in response to the increasing normalisation of anxiety among younger generations. Inspired by the ocean, the colour blue is used to evoke calmness and emotional balance, while elements such as pillows and fidget-like metal trimmings are incorporated to provide a sense of comfort, protection, and interaction.

The collection features a contrast between fluid drapes and structured forms, with modular elements that allow garments to be worn in multiple ways. Subtle references to my Chinese heritage are expressed through contemporary reinterpretations of the cheongsam.
