It’s a collection showing the dichotomy between two heritages yet the harmony the designer, Rhea found through design and prints. Each piece combines handcraft, embellishment and hand-drawn prints from South East Asia. With a strong emphasis on snakes and flowers, Rhea brings out the similarities between her culture and the one she grew up in.

 

The snake represents protection from one life to the next  while also resembling the shedding of one's old self while the floral motifs create a new world. Each print is heavily inspired from the tattoo culture, pottery art and temples around South East Asia.
