Who knows what humans will evolve into, perhaps humanoids where memories are replaced by technology? In such a future, even language and cultural identity could be lost. My collection titled ‘REBIRTH’, responds to this possibility by reviving and reimagining Chinese cultural memory through mythology, ensuring that these narratives endure a thousand years from now. This is a speculative fashion collection that explores self-renewal, cultural memory, and the inner fire that shapes identity.

By the year 3100, a massive lack of cultural identity defines the world, as centuries of erosion have diminished Chinese culture into fragments. Inspired by the myth of Ne Zha, the defiant spirit who remade his own destiny, the collection reinterprets Chinese mythology not as a relic of the past, but as a speculative tool for envisioning how future identities might be rebuilt.
